Declaring portions of Psalm 91 against Fear, Anxiety, and Fierce Opposition.
Verses 9 to 11 and 14 from the Amplified bible
Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will command His angels in regard to you,
To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways of obedience and service.14 “Because he set his love on Me, therefore I will save him;
I will set him securely on high, because he knows My name he confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon him, no, never.
Father in the mighty name of Jesus we choose to make You, not fear nor anxiety our dwelling place.You are not our distant protector; You are our refuge, our hiding place, our strong tower.
We take shelter in You—not in our abilities, not in our circumstances, not in the approval of unlearned people. When the opposition feels relentless— we remind our soul: that we dwell in the presence of the Most High. Because we have chosen to stay in Your presence, no evil—no scheme, no slander, no spiritual weapon—can undo us. .
Even when darkness surrounds us,Your light is our armor, and Your truth is our compass. No plague—whether sickness, emotional torment, financial stress, or spiritual oppression—will overtake our ministry. You also surround our physical buildings and dwellings, but more than that, You secure the dwelling of our heart and mind. Peace lives here, because You dwell in us.
You have assigned angels to us, to watch over every step we take. We do not walk alone. When we feel weak, weary, or even overwhelmed, Your strengthen us by your Spirit with might in our inner man , you strengthens and order our steps.
When fierce opposition comes—from the world, or from false brethren, or from any enemy—we do not retreat in fear, I stand in faith. For our dwelling is not just on earth,
But we live from the secret place of the Most High.
Father, You are our shield and fortress. Lord Jesus, You are our confidence. Holy Spirit, You are our comforter and courage. Today, we cast down every anxious thought.we rebuke fear. And we silence the voice of the accuser. Even when we don’t see the way,You have already gone before us, preparing peace for us in the presence of our enemies. We abide in You. And You fight for us. We align our words, our thoughts, and our steps with Your unshakable truth.
We stand, therefore, in assured victory—today, tomorrow, and forever—
in the mighty, undefeated name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
