Morning by Morning

we are sons of the morning, and we are sons of the day, or the light and daily we should have a desire to commune with the Lord

Isaiah 50:4-5  “The Lord GOD has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned. 5 The Lord GOD has opened My ear; And I was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away.

Prayer declaration

Father in the name of Jesus we give you praise because you quickened us with Christ and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ. We worship You because you are the Father of mercy and the God of all comfort. Lord we look to you the author and the finisher of our faith there you give us the tongue of the learned, you have put your word in our mind, you have written on our hearts, you give us a word in season so that we know how to speak a word in season to those who are weary.

Thank you that you have opened our ears to your word. Your word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Your word is able to build us up and give us an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Your word is like a fire and a hammer that breaks the rocks in pieces.

We thank you that your is word is Spirit and life, it is perfect, sure, right, clean, true, holy, just, good and it stands forever. Your word gives us understanding, endurance and righteousness. It is more to be desired than money or food. It warns, rewards and cleanses us from our faults and keeps us from presumptuous sins.

Therefore we pray that the words our mouths and the meditation our heart be acceptable in your sight. We are praying for the sensitivity of your Holy Spirit, that morning by morning you awaken us, that we may incline our ear so that we may receive our portion of the daily bread of your word.

We incline our ear to your word because faith comes by hearing your word, that we may perfect that which is lacking in our faith. May we also declare today that your word is like fire in our bones that we can never stay silent, but speak with a mouth of wisdom that no one will be able to oppose or nullify.
